My name is Stefan Moeller and I was born in Hoeckelheim near Goettingen. I studied dentistry at the University of Goettingen and have been working in my profession since 1989. After my residency, I concentrated on oral surgery and dental implantology. Study visits to the USA and to Switzerland as well as activities in different surgical practices resulted in the formation of my referral practice in 1994. In cooperation with Prof. Dr. Dr. Wilfried Engelke, my ambitions in microsurgery led to the establishment of the Goettingen work group for innovative dental medicine (GAID), in which we further develop microscopic and endoscopic surgery. At national and international conventions as well as in specialist literature, I report on our work concerning the keyhole technique, satellite implants and odontoscopy.
The development in dental implantology over the last few years could be put into practice in close cooperation with my colleagues in their medical practices, as well as with the help of an active academic exchange.
